Here are some answers to questions you may have.

Can you use your work?

Absolutely!

I make pottery so that it can be used in your everyday life. All of my work is functional and food safe, and you can wash it in the dishwasher if you like (I do).

How much is shipping in the US?

Currently, my SHOP page works with a flat rate formula for shipping in the US ($7 per order plus $4 per item, so one item ships for $11, two items for $15, etc...). My orders are generally shipped via USPS priority first class mail.

If the auto-calculation of shipping is far off from the actual packing and shipping costs for your order, I will credit you back any over-charge.

Do you ship outside the US?

I’ll happily ship anywhere!

All shipping costs are paid by the buyer, and any additional international taxes or shipping charges that may arise will be the responsibility of the buyer as well. Currently, my SHOP page works with a flat rate formula for shipping in the US and  I'm experimenting with flat rate shipping for Canada and the UK.

If you are somewhere else in the world, and thinking about a piece but concerned about shipping charges, please send me an email with the additional details on your international destination and the piece you would like--I would be happy to estimate shipping charges to your home! Then if you purchase it I will send you an online e-invoice you directly once I calculate the actual shipping costs (it's easily payable from your computer with a credit card). Apologies that this is somewhat cumbersome, I'll be streamlining this once I understand the mechanics a bit better.

What if I live nearby and want to pick it up at your studio?

If you live or work nearby, you can definitely make an appointment to pick up the work here in my studio. I'm a ten minute walk from Boston's South Station. There is some metered on-street parking nearby, and I can even meet you at your car if that is simpler. For a pick-up, please enter the discount code LOCAL at checkout and I will waive shipping costs. If you've already checked out but prefer to pick up, it's easy for me to refund the shipping charges to your original method of payment.

Do you accept returns?

I do not generally accept returns, but I am committed to your satisfaction. If there is a problem, or you are disappointed with your purchase, please contact me via email with the details within a week of receipt to see what we can do about an exchange.

Do you charge sales tax?

I am required by Massachusetts state law to collect 6.25% sales tax on any Massachusetts orders. Orders shipped to destinations outside of Massachusetts are not taxed.
