I make these dishes by rolling and cutting slabs of porcelain, then pressing them on plater molds I poured. After they dry a bit, I trim the edges with a wood-working tool and sponge them smooth. I paint them with underglazes when they are bone-dry, then fire them, coat them in glaze and give them one last trip through the kiln.
They are safe for food, and it is fine to put in the dishwasher. They stack perfectly in your cabinet.

Don't you always need a little dish for something?
A bit of dipping sauce, some olives, a place for olive pits, somewhere to stow your earrings or a ring at night, or maybe a spot for that vitamin you are always forgetting to take.
They come in a mix of drawings and geometrics, including: dots, stripes, caffetiera (espresso pot), house, and a variety of imaginary birds.

Perfect for one tulip or a few small flowers form your garden. These bud vases are wheel thrown for porcelain, painted with underglazes and sgraffito details, and have a variety of interior colors. Approximately 3 1/2 inches tall, each one is handmade and the size will vary slightly.
I make bowls in two ways: either by throwing them on the potters wheel, or from slabs of clay rolled and draped over plaster forms I create.
Like all of my work, they are safe for food, and it is fine to put in the dishwasher.
