Coffee bowl - Italian daydreams - vase +bird +building

64.00

This coffee bowl is painted with birds, vessel, flowering vines and an Italian tower with cypress trees. The interior is a deep dark green and the exterior is unglazed, polished porcelain. It feels a bit like a weathered stone--the porcelain is vitrified (sealed)  and it will not stain.

about 4”h x 4.5”w, this coffee bowl holds about 16 ounces.

I call it a coffee bowl and it holds a latte made with a double pot of espresso and a generous amount of milk, or can fill it with tea, or maybe even granola, or a generous serving of ice cream.

Each piece is thrown on the potters wheel and will vary slightly.

You may wash them by hand or in the dishwasher.  If you drink a lot of tea, like I do, the inside will stain over time--but this is easily removed with an abrasive scrubbing (I use those dark green scouring pads commonly found in the grocery store--we call them "green scrubbies").
