Large round mug - travel daydreams (tuscan vase, bird, moka pot, tower, olive vines)

68.00

This large handled cup is painted with an Italian maiolica vase, a bird, a tower, an espresso/moka pot, and vines, with a peacock on the bottom. The interior is a soft celadon blue, and the exterior is unglazed, polished porcelain. It feels a bit like a weathered stone--the porcelain is vitrified (sealed)  and it will not stain.

Approximately four inches tall, and 4.5 inches wide, it holds just about 16 ounces.

Each mug is thrown on the potters wheel and will vary slightly.

You may wash them by hand or in the dishwasher.  If you drink a lot of tea, like I do, the inside will stain over time--but this is easily removed with an abrasive scrubbing (I use those dark green scouring pads commonly found in the grocery store--we call them "green scrubbies").
