coffee bowl - fish

48.00

This coffee bowl has a school of swimming fish painted all around it. The interior is a pale celadon blue, and the exterior is unglazed, polished porcelain. It feels a bit like a weathered stone--the porcelain is vitrified (sealed)  and it will not stain.

I call it a coffee bowl and it holds a latte made with a double pot of espresso and a generous amount of milk, or can fill it with tea, or maybe even granola, or a generous serving of ice cream.

Approximately four inches tall, and 4.75 inches wide, it holds just about 16 ounces.

Each piece is thrown on the potters wheel and will vary slightly.

You may wash them by hand or in the dishwasher.  If you drink a lot of tea, like I do, the inside will stain over time--but this is easily removed with an abrasive scrubbing (I use those dark green scouring pads commonly found in the grocery store--we call them "green scrubbies").
